Image Hosting by Picoodle.comiSquare.it (Link)iSquare is 4 on my top site list right now, but I should mention it is climbing. I, probably like creator Antonio Lupetti when he dreamt up his site, am sick of the average way to browse the web. Eventually everyone stumbles upon the next big site when it is deservedly so, but still, the conventional web browser, is bored, goes to Yahoo or Google and types in their keyword and finds whoever is paying Google or Yahoo the most on that day. It’s kind of sickening the way searching on the web has become so ‘corporate’. This is why I like Lupetti’s iSquare. It’s simple, yet attractive way to spend your bored hours on the net. Each person or web site who has a square gets a brief sentence to explain themselves and you the user, can decide if you want to proceed further and see what their all about. A lot of the sites and people you stumble upon on iSquare are not those you’d normally stumble upon. Some really nice sites and interesting people can be found there. For the future prognosis it’s hard to say where exactly he’s going with the site, but maybe the aspect of mystique is what is so appealing. For the month, traffic wise, on Alexa they are 261,567 and for the week 375,927. Your purchase is made in squares 50×50 and it costs 50 Euro (approx. $65 USD) and your square is on the site forever. My opinion, it’s cheap enough to make the investment and get a square.
